WGA Certified Educator Application
Weave Genius Academy is accepting applications for Certified Educators to represent the WGA brand in approved cities.
This program is designed for licensed professionals who demonstrate consistency, professionalism, and the ability to teach WGA-approved techniques exactly as instructed. Certified Educators operate under the Weave Genius Academy name and are expected to uphold brand standards at all times.
Educator certification is selective. Application approval is required before training, licensing, and teaching authorization.
Licensing Requirement
Applicants must be a licensed cosmetologist in good standing to be considered for Weave Genius Academy Educator Certification.
This requirement ensures all Certified Educators meet professional licensing standards and are legally authorized to perform and teach hair extension and wig installation services.
Applicants will be required to provide proof of active cosmetology licensure during the approval process.

This opportunity is intended for licensed professionals who:

• Have trained under the WGA system or are prepared to complete required training
• Can teach with structure, clarity, and professionalism
• Uphold Weave Genius Academy standards and brand integrity
• Are prepared to represent WGA in an approved city
• Are committed to delivering consistent, high-quality education
Core Classes Available for Educator Authorization
Applicants must select the class or classes they are applying to teach.
Available Core Training Classes at Weave Genius Academy:
• Hair Extension & Microlinks – 7 Techniques Class
• Lace Front Wig Making Class
• Flawless Lace Wig Sew-In Installation Class
• Flawless Lace Closure & Lace Frontal Sew-In Installation Class
• Hairpiece Making Class – Create 4 Custom Hairpieces

• Submission of this application does not guarantee acceptance
• Applicants must hold an active cosmetology license to qualify
• All applicants must complete the approval process
• Certification, licensing, and authorization are required before teaching WGA classes
• Unauthorized teaching of WGA curriculum is strictly prohibited
Certification Requirement and Investment
All approved applicants are required to complete Weave Genius Academy Educator Certification before receiving authorization to teach.
Certification is conducted through a required private 1-on-1 educator training session, available either:
• Online (private virtual certification), or
• In person at Weave Genius Studio in Stuart, Florida
Educator certification is a paid requirement. Certification investment begins at $395 per class and varies depending on training format and class authorization. Financing options are available.
Certification must be completed and approved prior to teaching any Weave Genius Academy classes.
