Learn how to professionally construct four custom hairpieces from start to finish with Rhonda Robinson, The Weave Genius.

This hands-on class is designed for beginners, aspiring hair professionals, and experienced stylists who want to expand into custom hairpiece construction.

Using a sewing machine, you’ll learn practical construction techniques that can be used to create professional hairpieces for clients or products to sell.

No prior wig-making or sewing experience is required.

What You’ll Learn

During this class, you will learn how to construct:

• Clip-In Hairpiece
• Enclosed Topper
• Ponytail Hairpiece
• Bang Hairpiece

Training includes:

• Sewing machine fundamentals for hairpiece construction
• Preparing and working with hairpiece foundations
• Proper weft placement
• Cutting and positioning wefts
• Securing hair to the foundation
• Attaching hair grippers and other components
• Finishing techniques for a clean, professional result

By the end of class, you will have constructed four custom hairpieces and learned a repeatable method you can continue using after training.

• Sewing Machine — Singer or Brother

Please arrive with your sewing machine and required hair ready for hands-on training.

With more than 20 years of professional hair extension experience and educating beauty professionals since 2005, Rhonda combines her background as a former seamstress with decades of professional hair experience to teach practical hairpiece and wig-construction techniques.

The goal is not simply to demonstrate the process—you will work through the construction techniques yourself so you can continue creating hairpieces independently after class.

Certificate of Completion

Students who complete the training receive a Weave Genius Academy Certificate of Completion recognizing their training in custom hairpiece construction.
